Koi Variety

Color Transformations from the Magoi (basic black carp) were developed in the 17th Century along with the majority of the Nishikigoi (colored carp) you see today. The most common variety is the Kohaku (white bodied koi with red markings), which either has a solitary red spot on the head, a continuous red marking from head to tail, or scattered red marks throughout the body. Here, you’ll find a variety of vibrant colors ranging from pure white and pure yellow to mixed patterns of orange/black and red/black – measuring anywhere between 24 to 36 inches or more in length.
